The programme is for senior public sector leaders with deep experience in governance and public policy, are passionate about improving national governance and would like to enhance their knowledge in public sector innovation and reform alongside colleagues across Africa.

Participants who have successful completed the programme will be awarded a Certificate of Accomplishment jointly issued by the Chandler Academy of Governance and the African Association for Public Administration and Management.

No specific academic qualifications are required. We welcome applicants from diverse educational backgrounds who can contribute meaningfully to, and benefit from, the programme.

Confirmed participants are required to pay a programme fee of US$1,000 and to cover their own costs for travel, accommodation, and ground expenses in both Africa and Singapore. The programme fee contributes to the costs of organising and delivering the programme, with the remaining costs covered by the Chandler Academy of Governance.  

The selection process will take between 2-3 weeks. Applicants will be assessed based on their CV, written and video submissions. We are interested in understanding your leadership accomplishments, your understanding of government and policy issues, and your commitment to effect change. 

There will be two in-person segments which will be held in Africa and Singapore. Each in-person segment will be 5 days long.
