Who is the Strong Nations for Asia Programme for?
The programme is for senior public sector leaders with deep experience in governance and public policy, are passionate about improving national governance and would like to enhance their knowledge in public sector innovation and reform alongside colleagues across Asia.
Will I get a certificate upon completion of the programme?
Participants who have successfully completed the programme will be awarded a Certificate of Accomplishment issued by the Chandler Academy of Governance.
Do I need certain academic qualifications to be considered for the programme?
No specific academic qualifications are required. We welcome applicants from diverse educational backgrounds who can contribute meaningfully to, and benefit from, the programme.
What are the fees for the programme?
Confirmed participants are required to pay a programme fee of US$TBC. This fee covers part of the cost of organising and delivering the programme, with the remaining costs supported by the Chandler Academy of Governance. In addition, participants are required to bear the cost of their return travel, accommodation, and other related expenses in both Viet Nam and Singapore.
What is the selection process like?
The selection process will take between 2-3 weeks. Applicants will be assessed based on their CV, written and submissions. We are interested in understanding your leadership accomplishments, your understanding of government and policy issues, and your commitment to effect change.
Can I apply if I am currently working in the private sector?
How many in-person segments will there be?
There will be two in-person segments which will be held in a selected country in Asia and Singapore. Each in-person segment will be 5 days long.
