The Chandler Academy of Governance, which is the training division of Chandler Governance Group (CGG), designs and delivers training programmes for public sector leaders, equipping them with the skills to deliver high performance government. Our signature programmes are anchored in our proprietary curriculum, practitioner-focused, and contextualised to local needs. We utilise a range of teaching techniques, including seminars, expert-led discussions, and site visits. We also work with clients to design customised programmes for public servants, tailored to the country context, client objectives, and participant profiles.

Message from the Dean

At no time in recent memory has the work of governments been more consequential — or more complex. Around the world, public sector leaders are confronting climate risks, disruptive technologies, rising citizen expectations, and difficult fiscal trade-offs. These are not abstract challenges. They manifest in the daily decisions of civil servants: how to strengthen health systems, protect the vulnerable, manage cities, and steward public resources wisely.

In this demanding environment, good intentions are not enough. The public service needs sound judgement, practical skills, and the courage to turn policy into meaningful impact. That’s where the Chandler Academy of Governance (CAG) comes in.

At CAG, we believe effective governance requires both technical expertise and a deep understanding of people, institutions, and context. Our mission is to equip current and future public leaders with the capabilities to navigate uncertainty, build resilient institutions, and deliver better outcomes for their citizens. We draw on the lived experience of practitioners, evidence from around the world, and insights from our global partners to shape practical, high-quality learning journeys.

As a former Singapore public servant, I understand the weight of responsibility our colleagues carry. I also know the power of investing in their growth — not just to improve performance, but to inspire purpose and possibility. It is now my privilege, as Dean of CAG, to lead our dedicated team committed to bringing this opportunity to public servants around the world.

Together, let us build governments that work, and a future that serves all.
